
Into the Unknown is a sci-fi first-person narrative-driven shooter centered around a former scientist working at a secretive Time and Space Research Facility. The story begins as the player boards a private shuttle late at night, listening to a radio debate about a controversial new portal project—its potential to revolutionize or destroy reality. Upon arriving at the facility, the player prepares for a mission through the portal, but when the portal malfunctions, they are thrown into multiple unpredictable worlds. With chaos unfolding across dimensions, the player must navigate unfamiliar realities and uncover the mystery behind the portal’s failure.
The player character is a former scientist involved in a top-secret project developing a portal capable of manipulating space and time. As unrest grows outside due to fears of the portal's destructive power, the first human trial begins in secrecy. After boarding the private shuttle and arriving at the Time and Space Research Facility, the player prepares for their journey by changing into a specialized suit and entering the portal. However, instead of a controlled jump, the portal destabilizes, throwing the player across multiple worlds, setting off a chain of chaotic events.
