Storyline

Following a catastrophic containment breach at a sprawling, classified industrial megacomplex, the surrounding region has been plunged into a perpetual state of chaos. The atmosphere is permanently scorched red by anomalous energy fields, which have violently mutated the local population and wildlife into hostile, relentless entities. Players take on the role of highly trained rogue operatives and hardened survivors trapped within this ever-shifting Quarantine Zone. With society completely dissolved and no extraction coming, the only objective is survival. To stay alive, these isolated fighters must scavenge the ruined, procedurally generated sectors, reverse-engineer abandoned technology to construct heavily fortified safe havens, and push back against the endless hordes of abominations.
