Storyline

In an age of constant war, rivaling ninja clans Iga and Kouga effectively expanded their respective forces. Due to that long history of warring, both clans dwelled in their hatred towards one another. However, during the ninth year of the Tenshou era, the Tenshou Iga war, led by Oda Nobunaga, destroyed the Iga forces, leading the members who survived to be taken in by the Kouga Clan. Seventeen years later, Sengoku period had ended, lasting peace came back to Japan and the Iga and Kouga clans totally merged together. Dreaming to be a full fledged shinobi and perform in her duties, Ueno Enju (the protagonist), only daughter of Kouga clan's head Ueno Kandou, had been training everyday. Finally chosen for her first mission, she departs with her ambitions in mind, unknowingly setting her fate in motion : an incident occurs, which could very well be a turning point for Enju's life, and the village's as well...
