
Rayman 2 is the cancelled 2D prototype of the game which would later be released as Rayman 2: The Great Escape. This 2D version was very similar to the original game, following the same art style and controls, but with more emphasis on puzzle solving. The first level of the game was later included as unlockable in the PlayStation version of Rayman 2: The Great Escape.
