Storyline

Six months after the defeat of Heihachi Mishima, Jin Kazama and the rebel army Yggdrasil launch an operation against his father, Kazuya Mishima, in New York City. Seizing the moment, Kazuya announces a new King of Iron Fist Tournament in which nations must compete or face annihilation. Jin, recovering from his injuries and unable to reliably access his powers, enters the tournament qualifiers in Japan, where he encounters Reina, a mysterious student whose fighting style resembles that of his late grandfather. As Kazuya's true agenda begins to unfold and ancient forces connected to the Devil Gene stir beneath the surface, Jin must confront both his father and the darkness within himself.
